Scholarship Details
Who Is Eligible
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements.

Mentor High School senior

Planning to study business, entrepreneurship, or a related field

Shows leadership, discipline, and ambition in school, work, or activities

One-page personal essay

Business plan presentation, 15 to 20 slides

One letter of recommendation from a teacher, mentor, or professional

Proof of enrollment or acceptance into a business-related program, submitted after selection
Essay Requirements
The essay gives the review team a clear picture of who you are and where you want to go.
Your one-page essay must:

Explain who you are and your background

Explain what excites you about entrepreneurship

Explain what inspired you to pursue this path

Describe how the 1,000 dollars will support your goals after high school
Business Plan Presentation Requirements
Create a business plan presentation for a company you want to build.
15 to 20 slides total, including:

Title slide with your name and business name

The value your idea brings

Short overview of key competitors

Your main advantage over those competitors

Basic pricing or simple revenue model
